IMG_3947My research investigates the way teenagers use technology for social and academic purposes, with particular attention to the performance of identities and the (re)creation of power dynamics in the classroom. I am currently writing a dissertation grounded in Critical Literacy Studies and Social Construction of Technology theory that investigates how teachers and teens negotiate the meaning and use of technology in two 11th grade ELA classrooms.
